Cohort begins Monday, April 20

DivorceHousing.com is entering its next phase of growth.

And that growth requires more than certification.

It requires CDLPs who are ready to:

  • elevate their role
  • refine their strategy
  • and actively participate in the work

The CDLP® Cohort is a limited opportunity to step into that role.

A Note from Jody

DivorceHousing.com is not being built as a passive platform.

It is being built to support real decisions, real cases, and real outcomes at the intersection of divorce, housing, and mortgage strategy.

That requires CDLPs who are willing to operate differently and step into a more active role within this work.

This cohort is how I identify and work with those professionals.

What This Cohort Is

This is not a coaching program.
This is a working cohort.

Over the course of 12 weeks, a small group of CDLPs will work directly with Jody Bruns to:

  • Apply Mortgage Capacity Mapping in real scenarios
  • Engage with opportunities connected to DivorceHousing.com
  • Strengthen their ability to deliver strategic divorce mortgage planning
  • Adapt their current business model to meet the demands of this space

This is about doing the work—not preparing for it.

This Is the Shift

There is a difference between:

  • understanding divorce mortgage planning and
  • operating within it

Most CDLPs remain in the first.

This cohort is designed for those ready to step into the second.

Momentum Is Already Building

DivorceHousing.com is not a concept; it is already in motion.

In less than 30 days, DivorceHousing.com has already generated over 8,600 visitors and initial inquiry activity.

This early traction confirms something important:

There is a real and growing demand for structured, strategic divorce housing guidance.

Not every inquiry becomes an opportunity and not every opportunity is ready to be handled without the right training.

As part of this cohort, you will not simply observe that demand, you will learn how to work within it.

This includes:

  • understanding how inquiries are evaluated
  • participating in the process of delivering strategic guidance
  • and developing the skills required to handle these opportunities at a high level

This is not a lead distribution program.
This is not about preparing for future opportunity.
This is about learning to operate within what is already beginning.

What You Will Be Doing

Participants in this cohort will be involved in:

  • Mortgage Capacity Mapping Training (Weekly, live with Jody Bruns)
  • Working real DivorceHousing.com opportunities
  • Contributing to and delivering Divorce Mortgage Planning Reports
  • Engaging with divorcing homeowners requiring strategic guidance
  • Strengthening positioning for both consulting and mortgage opportunities

This is an opportunity to learn, apply, and refine—at the same time.

What You Will Build

Over the course of this 12-week cohort, the objective is not just participation; it is implementation.

Participants will receive guidance and support in:

  • Structuring their divorce mortgage planning consulting model
  • Positioning and communicating their value to divorcing clients and professionals
  • Navigating the onboarding process for consulting engagements
  • Delivering Divorce Mortgage Planning Reports with clarity and confidence
  • Integrating consulting and mortgage opportunities into a cohesive business model

This is designed to be a step forward. A transition from understanding the model to functioning within it.

By the end of this cohort, the expectation is not that you understand the process; it is that you are actively operating within it.

How This Translates Into Revenue Opportunities

Divorce mortgage planning is not a transactional service; it is a strategic role within the divorce process.

As part of this cohort, you will be introduced to and work within two primary pathways for generating revenue:

1. Consulting-Based Opportunities

CDLPs may have the opportunity to work with individuals who request a Mortgage Capacity Evaluation or Divorce Mortgage Planning Report.

These are paid engagements focused on:

  • analyzing housing affordability
  • evaluating financing options
  • and providing structured guidance during the divorce process

2. Mortgage Opportunities Through Active Cases

As you develop your role within divorce mortgage planning, you may also engage with opportunities that lead to traditional mortgage transactions.

This includes:

  • working with divorcing homeowners navigating buyouts, refinances, or new purchases
  • participating in conversations with attorneys and other professionals involved in the case
  • positioning yourself as the mortgage resource within the divorce process

Important Context

Not every inquiry becomes an opportunity, and not every opportunity is immediately ready to move forward.

This cohort is designed to help you:

  • understand how these opportunities are identified
  • develop the capability to engage in them effectively
  • and begin positioning yourself to participate in both consulting and mortgage-related work

The objective is not to promise outcomes; it is to ensure you are equipped, positioned, and actively participating in the types of opportunities that drive both consulting and mortgage-related revenue.

How This 12-Week Cohort Works

This cohort is designed for real-time application, not passive learning.

Over the course of 12 weeks, you will work directly with Jody Bruns in a structured environment that combines training, implementation, and active participation.

  • Weekly live sessions focused on Mortgage Capacity Mapping, case application, and strategic decision-making
  • Ongoing alignment with real DivorceHousing.com activity and opportunities
  • Guidance on building and integrating your consulting model into your existing business
  • Direct feedback, discussion, and refinement within a focused group of CDLPs
  • Expanded professional visibility through the CDLP® Difference initiative

This environment is designed to mirror how this work actually happens; not how it is taught.

What Happens After the 12 Weeks

This cohort is designed as a focused, 12-week working environment to accelerate your transition into an active divorce mortgage planning practice.

At the conclusion of the cohort, the expectation is not that your work ends; it is that your role continues.

Participants who successfully engage in the cohort will be positioned to:

  • Continue operating within their own divorce mortgage planning practice
  • Engage in ongoing opportunities connected to DivorceHousing.com as appropriate
  • Maintain alignment with the Divorce Lending Association ecosystem through CORE membership

This cohort is not the end point; it is the point of transition.

The objective is to ensure that by the end of the 12 weeks, you are not relying on the cohort, you are operating independently within this work.
